More solidariTEA quotes from India, Canada and England
Our 9th grade students conducted a finding on the various reasons that effect poverty especially in the Indian subcontinent. This was done by them in groups. Each group gave a presentation based on their research. This process was started on the 12th of December and all the presentations were reviewed, taking some time. Finally the two best presentations were chosen and they were presented in front of 8th grade students as well as 9th graders.

Our solidaritea was a very informal, gathering of friends during the holiday season. It was a wonderful opportunity to be able to come together to celebrate and appreciate being together, knowing that many others around the globe were doing so on the same day. It was a great chance to feel connected to one another, and so many people around the world, on such an important day.

We began with a discussion on identity, and how we develop what is important to us as a community. We then watched Benji Holzman's documentary "Pedalling for Peace" and had a discussion with the filmmaker about interfaith work and education. We ended the evening with a jam session with drums, guitar, and ukelele.
